I think it would work better if the automatic strike were not a thing, but as you mentioned in a Steam topic, it would be really complicated to make it work smoothly with everything else.
Also, the safe strike is really helpful, especially as a last resort to reach balls that are far away. However, I am curious why the player still performs a swing
even when the ball is clearly out of reach or has already hit the net and the point is over.
It does not disrupt gameplay, but it does look a bit silly. Would it be too difficult to adjust this so the player does not swing in those situations where he's really far or the point is already over? I actually enjoy seeing my player accept a great shot and just watch the ball when it is clearly out of reach, rather than swinging at the air.
That might just be me being picky, as it is more of a polishing detail. I am just curious whether it would be possible to fix it in a future update.
