In the mod folder for the profile I'm using, I try changing tournament names in the TourATP.ini file.

I've changed names before, and those names show in game. However, new changes aren't showing in game.

I am confused.

you might have some priority conflicts with other Mods, or another version of your Mod somewhere else..?

Doesn't it only load the mod from the mod folder with the same name as the profile?

For example, Frank profile would then use tour.ini from Frank mod folder.

When I load the XKT Profile, for example, it uses tour.ini from the XRT mod folder. However, if I change that tour.ini, none of the changes are reflected in the game.

Very odd. I delete both the profile and mods folders. When I start TE4, the profile folder is fully restored on the drive, all the files and subfolders back.

Where might that be coming from?

I read something about mods now not needing profiles, but can't find that post. Could this have something to do with that?

Your Mod will be bound to a profile only if you specify it : topic60-34687.php .

Most available Mods aren't bound to any profile. XKT is bound to the XKT profile.

This is so confusing.

I don't know where it's getting the profiles from, after I delete them all they all come back when I start the game.

If you removed the Mod, then that profile might be still selected in your Tennis.ini . Select the Default profile, close the game, then delete the Profile subfolder again.

I removed all mods and profiles, removed the folders completely. A few times, it still loaded them, restored the folders.

Finally it stopped doing that, and when I change TourATP.ini, the changes are reflected. Not sure why it's working now.
