Note : if the ranks you give are better than the BestRank, you should raise the BestRank to match the best new rank, and raise these 4 mental skills high enough (otherwise the players will get much better skills to compensate) : Concentration, ColdBlood, Constancy, Motivation.
Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding these points:
1) If a player's RankPerYear (end-of-year ranking in real life) is, for example, is 235, 184, 156, 143, 167, 201, 300, but at some point during their peak years they reached 100, do you put their BestRank as 100 and leave the RankPerYear the same as their end-of-year ranking in real life? And will the game try to give them a peak around 100 as well, or will it stick more strictly to the RankPerYear numbers?
2) Regarding the ratings of the four mental skills, you mention that if these are too low for their ranking, they will get better skills to compensate, so does that also mean that if you rate the mental skills too highly their other skills will suffer slightly? I'm not quite sure where they fit in with the normalised skills, as I didn't think these four mental skills had an overall effect on the other skills.
