I know I can set my own favorite doubles partner in World Tour. But is there a way to add a line of code in the base players.ini file to set the favorite doubles partners of other players? For example, if I wanted McEnroe and Fleming to be favorite doubles partners of each other in my career save even though I'm not playing either one, is that possible?

Hello,

yes, add this to any player section :
FavPartner = 27
Change 27 to the number of the player in the base. (if the base is built correctly and the player section is Player0027 then his number is 27)

There's a "SwitchToDoubles" line in there for some players with a specific year assigned to it. I'm assuming that means they only play doubles after that point?

Yes.
It avoids using SingleDoublePerYear which allows for modification of the SingleDouble every year.
