Hey everyone

Playing around with the tour.ini to try make a realistic schedule. Does anyone have any experience with trying to have the country cup rounds on different weeks?

e.g - Have the quarter finals on week 15 in 2011 and in week 16 in 2012. I always assumed this wouldn't be possible but I noticed in the latest update there was a bug fix saying that you could? I've tried a fair few different and it seems to work for certain weeks but crashes in others.

Not super important, I can wiggle things around - but thought i'd ask in case somebody has had some success with it

yes, it should work, but you have to do several extra things.

1) Add this to your Tour.ini, under [WT_Static] :
NbDavisCupRound = 4

So the start of your Tour.ini should look like this :

NbDavisCupRound =   4

2) Add this line for each Country Cup round, in your Tour.ini :
DavisRound = X
Replace X with a number :
1 = 1st round ; 2 = 2nd round ; 3 = semi ; 4 = final.

You'll have to be careful to have only 1 DavisRound for each tournament. You'll get error messages like this in your log if you do (visible from Settings -> Profile -> Show Engine Log ; and search for "Error:") :

Error: Tournament Emerson Cup on Week 8 should have a DavisRound entry (for section '[Tournament626.000]')
Error: incorrect DavisRound for Emerson Cup on Week 8 and Year 2001 ; it's 0 and it should be 1 (IniIndex = 9 ; Country = US)

The 2nd error message is done at a point where the section name isn't available anymore so I displayed the IniIndex (1st tournament in the Tour.ini = 0) and the Country (you can put different countries for different rounds to easily find the culprit).

3) It's recommended to have 4 rounds per year, or else the game might crash. If you put 3 rounds per year, you'll have to change this line in your TourCategory.ini, under [Category16], from :
QualifNbRound = 3
to :
QualifNbRound = 2

Thanks! Tried that all out and it's actually worked great without crashing.

However, when I tried to click on the Gibson Cup draw to see the results - the game will crash every time. Pretty sure I followed all the instructions right.

System.log has this

I just fixed a bug, so right now it cannot work correctly, you'll have to wait for the next update.
