Play the 2022 US Open in TE4 with all players and outfits from the Men’s Singles Draw!
The US Open mod:
- Adds 200+ outfit options and 46 players (including Alcaraz!)
- Includes four game saves to play through the 2022 US Open
- And includes easy installation compatible with XKT 1.4
About the Outfits
- The US Open Mod includes a texture for every hat, shirt, and shorts worn by each player
- It includes an outfit code for each player with these items as well as lookalike shoes, rackets, and wristbands from in-game textures
- Some players wore multiple outfits – some additional outfit codes are included in a spreadsheet if you want to paste it in
• If you notice a missing outfit, it’s because I couldn’t find it online or accidentally overlooked it.
About the Players
- The US Open Mod adds 46 new players to complete the Main Draw and adds the pre-US Open rank for existing players in the tournament
- All 128 players have skin, hair, and face customization based on in-game options applied to their outfit code (no added faces)
- Each player is based on an existing player with their skills adjusted by a percentage based on rank (I have since read this may not matter since skills are already influenced by rank)
• I haven’t watched a lot of the newly added players, and this isn’t meant to be a skills mod, so if you have issues with their skills, make your changes and share them in this thread.
• Same goes for animations, I tried to choose similar animations based on the bits of each match I watched, but if I got it wrong, change it and share here.
Game Saves
Play the 2022 US Open as one of four players in the included Tournament save files.
- Win your first major as Carlos Alcaraz
- Play a finals rematch as Casper Ruud
- Break the American drought as Frances Tiafoe, or
- Extend your slam record as Rafael Nadal
• The rankings and seeds are not correct because World Tour simulates and adjusts the rankings, but all players’ skills should be based on the 2022 ranking included in the mod.
• These saves are included in the USOpen and USOpenXKT profiles. I only made four saves – if you want to play as someone else, start a Unique Tournament in World Tour and select US Slam in 2022. Fill the draw with the players in the order they are listed in the included spreadsheet.
XKT 1.4 Compatible
The US Open Mod works with XKT 1.4 and the download includes a file to edit the Mods.ini to load the US Open Mod as well (see instructions). It also creates a USOpenXKT profile, so it won’t disrupt your existing XKT saves.
I did build all the player outfit codes in the vanilla game, so you will lose custom faces, grunts, and animations, but it is still worth playing on XKT courts/tour and you can always customize the player to bring them back.
• The outfits and players should still work in future XKT updates, but the game saves will not work if they update the Tour.ini
Installation Options + Instructions
Options
A. US Open Mod for Vanilla TE4 includes all outfits, new players, and game saves in a USOpen profile.
B. US Open Mod for XKT 1.4 includes all outfits, new players, and game saves in a USOpenXKT profile. It requires an existing XKT 1.4 installation and will edit the Mods.ini settings that XKT creates. This download DOES NOT include XKT.
C. Outfit Only for Vanilla includes all outfits and outfit codes for existing players, but no new players. This is so you can continue your existing World Tour save with the new outfits. It does not change the profile.
D. Outfit Only for XKT 1.4 - same as above but for XKT
Instructions
• Before installing or uninstalling a mod, always make a backup of your save files. They are found in the TE4 Data Folder > Profiles
1. Open the TE4 Data folder by launching the game and going to Settings > Profile > Show Data Folder (icon in the bottom left). Close the game.
2. Unzip the download and choose which option you want to install (A, B, C, or D – see above).
3. Open your selected mod folder and copy/drag all the files from there into the TE4 data folder.
4. Select replace for any file conflicts (usually just the Mods.ini).
5. Relaunch the game. Verify that it launches with the USOpen or USOpenXKT profile if you selected option A or B.
To Uninstall
1. Again, open the TE4 Data folder by launching the game and going to Settings > Profile > Show Data Folder (icon in the bottom left). Close the game.
2. Open the Mods folder and delete USOpenMod.
3. If you wish to remove your saves, open the Profiles folder and delete USOpen or USOpenXKT.
4. If you installed for Vanilla TE4, delete the Mods.ini file and it will repopulate when you launch the game.
5. If you installed for XKT, paste the following into the Mods.ini file in the Data Folder:
- Code: Select all
[Mod]
BasePath = Mods
Load = XKT
Name = XKT
Profile = XKT
You can also uninstall and reinstall XKT with their provided applications to complete this step.
Mac Users
I do not know how the game is set up on a Mac, but I assume if you follow standard installation for outfits and players on the SDK forum posts it will work.

About Me
I’m new to Tennis Elbow with TE4 and modding in general. I’m really enjoying the game and impressed with all the opportunities that modding provides. I’m also impressed with how quickly the XK Team has put together courts, sounds, and the tour for a game in early access. One area I thought I could help with was the outfits, and I thought I would have a go at the ambitious project of making outfits for all 128 US Open players.
I am new to the TE4 community, so I don’t know if this is something people are looking for, but I had fun making it and hope you enjoy!

This may have been too ambitious for a first mod project, and I won’t promise support or updates. Obviously I will look into it if the mod doesn’t work at all, but please don’t send me outfit requests as this is all I’m planning to do for the time being.
