Will it be possible to play the Davis Cup with the Davis Cup nets and pitches in the world tour mode, once the XKT mod is installed?
Let me explain, playing under the world tour mode of TE2013, with a mod, this is impossible, when we play it, we play it well in the old format, but we play it on a ground of the normal circuit of a tournament of the host country, therefore with the ATP nets and not with those of the Davis Cup.

and put it in tournament mode for a week like for the other tournaments in order to have the right court and the right net, once the XKT mod is installed ? (For example)

The Davis Cup format won't change.

I guess at some point I could add an option to specify the net or the court for the encounters though, but it won't be before a long time...

Hi, sorry for reviving this post, but I have a question about it. I see that now there is an option to add in the stadium.ini the nets for davis cup matches with the text "DavisNetSkin", but I would like to know if we can do it with the walls ads too, the text on the ground, etc , and if the answer is no, in the future could it be added or is it not?

Well, yes, that would be better, but now that can't be done, even if you choose a stadium for Davis Cup in the Tour.ini, the game ignores it and chooses a random one.

I've seen that with the line Custom3dObj = in the tour.ini you can force the game to load the Davis Cup ads when a "default" stadium is chosen, i.e. (TET250, TET500, Cinicinatti...), but when the game loads a "mod" stadium, it loads the ads for that stadium and ignores the line Custom3dObj = in the tour.ini.

But maybe the Tour.ini's Custom3dObj is hidden by the Stadium.ini one.

Anyway, for the next update, if a stadium is specified either in the Tour.ini or the TourCategory.ini, then that stadium will be selected during the Country Cup, as well as the specified Surface or Ground.

Hi, was this update ever implemented? Regardless of what is in the Tour file, the game seems to select random combinations of stadiums and surfaces. I'm using the xkt patch; I don't know if that could be the cause.

I created a new career and set Marc Limon's nationality to Puerto Rico. Since there is no tournament there, I moved the Winston-Salem tournament to that location. The Winston-Salem stadium was retained, but the surface is the unmodded clay; when using the 2D court, the stadium that appears is generic.

For the 2D court, it takes one matching the needed surface ; here, it's clay.

And yes, the game is looking for a big tournament held in the hosting country to use its stadium.

There's currently no other way to handle that.

Maybe I could add the possibility to specify a tournament per country in the Tour.ini , but then it'd still have the issue of the surface, especially for the 2D courts, as you have noted.
