Match Tie Break

Postby ism » 09 Jun 2012, 00:09

Hi

Is it possible to change competition rules anywhere to introduce a Match tie break instead of a final set in futures matches as used in real life (at least in most if not all futures events)?

Expecting the answer to be no, but thought I'd ask anyway

Cheers

Hello,

to get a Master Tie-Break in last set, you just have to set TieInLastSet to 2, either in the section of the tournament in Tour.ini, or in the category in TourCategory.ini .

EDIT: I just checked here http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/home.aspx , and looked 3 men & 3 women tournaments, and none had a master tie-break...

Thanks, I'm always quite impressed with the hidden features within this game that I always expect to not be possible!

And if you click the factsheet tab, under match scoring, every one I've checked so far says 'Match Tie Break and no ad scoring'

Such as this one - http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/tou ... 1100026127
this one - http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/tou ... 1100026625
and this one - http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/tou ... 1100026616

to name three.

Ok, this is only in doubles, not in singles.
And if you have the original game, then there's already a Match tie break for all doubles from TET250 to Future events.
