mishits should be punished a lot more than they are now, hitting with your racket's handle or wrist should go straight out. Else, if those aren't real mishits but some kind of optical illusion, a body-movement improve is mandatory.
It's not actually related to this new build, but I just figured now as I played a preview-off match that I wouldn't have played hadn't there been the option of forcing my opponent to play with preview-off too, which is something you added with this new build, lol.

I would like to know why the serve number 2 has been ruined with the new build? no reason to change the smooth movement, but instead you add an extra move during the serve process that completely ruins this serve type.

the old serve number 2:

the new serve number 2:

is it possible to have the old serve number 2 back, and make this new a type of its own?

Algo,
that would be the Elite Mode... ;)

milos,
new version is much closer of Federer, as he always starts bending a bit forward. I may add back previous version in the future, but not right now...

Please! Definitely bring back the old version in addition to the current one, hopefully in the not too distant future, otherwise good update.

That's what I did: I kept the second serve motion and I added this new Federer's serve extra ;)

Manu, just played some doubles...well, everything seems fine apart from the AI  The CPUs are rushing to the net from the baseline in a very unintelligent manner, and there's just too much space to cover to the net to rush in that manner...so they leave space to receive a winner when they rush :fear:

I propose that you recover the previous setting for CPU rushing, they did it more cautiously and much more reliably

Stajus,
these net rushes occur after a slice ? It's the only case I changed.
Before v1.0c, CPU always rushed the net leaving some space. Now, as he rushes a bit faster, it should let a bit less space actually.

Hmm, that's strange. These rushes were mainly on normal shots, not slices...but they do it less cautiously  Can you do a test set with CPUs on Incredible 10 and give them nice stats...you'll probably notice this :fear:

Stajus,
I just did a quick test (5 games), and I didn't notice anything special...
They did a few net rushes, but not much, and on these occasions, they were correctly placed (which easier in doubles than singles, as there's less space to cover ;) .
Maybe send me a .dmo, in case it's related to some specific case... (ie: court, game situation)

Hi Manu, well, I'm quite surprised you didn't notice inferior rushing in a kinda stupid way...once you're at the net and your partner is returning...he keeps trying to move back and forth on his side until he finally decides to rush (even when hitting down the line)...and when he does that a volley back to his corner is always a winner...Pretty annoying, especially as he even tries rushing like this when hitting DTL and then it's so easy to hit a winner past him as he's trying to reach the net...since in the midcourt area he can't volley or make jumps like at the net (and he finds himself in the midcourt area at the moment when the opponent is volleying again)...

In the previous version, rushing wasn't 100% intelligent either, but it seemed less likely to give the opponent an easy winner. Perhaps rushing needs to be a bit tuned overall to be honest :? Perhaps there's a way to make them stay back at the baseline when it's risky to approach, but I don't know - they seem to approach independent of the court positioning and the situation, and where they hit the ball before approaching...

I might post a .dmo when I get the time to play a set, can't right now  Or perhaps I'll record the DC SF doubles match vs France and post that

Good work with the new Federer serve, please don't change it...maybe in the future add the "old" Federer serve as an option...
