I was playing a tournament both in the single and double draws. I was forced to WO in double because I was supposedly injured. It never happened in singles. So it made me think the player actually injured was my partner. Besides during the huge amount of games (mostly singles) I have played, I have noticed I have never been injured. Does it happen only to CPU players? Is it randomly set?

I have also noticed CPU players are sometimes missing a slam. Is it due to injury?

yup, you can't get injured.
The engine simulates lasting injuries basically just by making player miss a tournament now and then, and complexly during a match. Your partner likely got injured in his singles match and wasn't able to play till the end of the current week.

Quite some time ago, I was forced to retire because of an injury, and this must be what happened. I don't remember it being a doubles match, but since "I" can't be injured, it must have been my CPU partner.

Thought I was losing my mind before, but glad to see I'm not (Or not as much as some people think, LOL!)
