Good poll let's see what every body prefers here :)
I prefered 3d before, I loved it... But now I really prefer the 2D screenshot courts because they are very realistic (if done very well) and let the camera change for every tournament (not the case for 3D you have to change manually, for example if you play Cincinati you have the low camera like on tv, and when you get to Bercy for example the camera changes and gets like the one on TV)

I mean why do you guys really PREFER 3d to good realistic 2d? What is better? the replay mode in 3d which enables to watch nice graphics? Why do you like more 3d while a 2d court is more close than real life court? like this for example:

To me it looks a little silly when the player characters look computer generated and then the environment is like a photograph. A more uniform style is nicer to my eyes, so the current all 3d version is the best looking option in the game

Though I have 2d courts right now because I'm lazy

Same than S.Williamz, plus I like camera movements in 3D better than in 2D, and everything is neater in 3D : example the time & serve speed is integrated within the stadium, and i like to see the crowd applauding my amazing tennis..! :P

Hi
In regards to the 3d stadium,
I think it would be a good to have the edit mode, where mana just give us the crowd and line judges and we build our own stadiums via the template, and what's up with the return smash, it's so preschool/mario, 50% of a tennis games gratification comes from smashing a ball into no mans land, with a great loud strike sound file, and the 3d camera now has to much movement, and the volly strike animation, the player needs to raise his body at the time of contact, sort of like when he wins a match, without his hands going up

(Hope you don't mind I snipped the pic.)
I don't see the realism of the 2D court myself. As in your screenshot, they look really nice in a picture, but not so much in game play (or at least, not to me). But then, everyone has there own prefernces, and I prefer the more realistic simulation of 3D play.
