Ok, I checked, and the problem with loss of power on low balls particularly arises with Fair Mode (ie: with 100% power & 100% speed skills). In Realistic Mode (ie: with 90% power & 90% speed skills), it's almost ok (but not totally).
So I already spent a good amount of time to tune that, and I'm going to check a bit more everything is alright and I'll release a new Build in a few hours.
Note:

As slices are slower strikes with way slower bounce, that only compensates the extra time that gives you extra precision to hit them.

I'd need a .dmo to find out why your player didn't jump to the slice on the line. In the code, your player should always jump, even sometimes when the ball is out ; not the opposite. So it may have a bug hidden somewhere...
