I have been looking through the new versions download and I don't see any instructions on how to upgrade without losing my existing player and settings, including records....

Any help on this would be appreciated.

if you have at least the version 1.0a Build 65 (version is shown in the "Credits" menu) then you can download & install the patch here : topic15-4450.php .
Saved Games are always kept.
The only thing you lose if you re-install the game is your Tennis.ini, so you can backup it before installing & restore it after ; by default, it's here : "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 2011\Tennis.ini" .
In all cases, don't uninstall the game before to install a new version.

it looks like that patch is only applicable to windows and I'm running a mac.

Ok, so on Mac, you have to transfer the "Profiles" subfolder + "Tennis.ini" file + your Key from your previous game folder to the new one, and you'll be good to go.
