Need to play all matches in World Tour..?

Postby Rasmuth » 12 Jul 2011, 21:00

I'm actually considering both this game and the manager game also. In regards to this game, do you have to play out every shot of every match (so conceivably a match could take hours) or is there also a way to "quick-play" matches.

Thanks!

Hello,

Normally, you play all your matches, but you can set the number of sets & games per set for your World Tour matches, so you can make them as short as you want.
You can start a career at an upper rank (30, 100, 300, instead of 1000), if you want to avoid to play in qualifications.
You could also make your player controlled by CPU and let him play while you do something else.
Lastly, you can use Cheat codes to pass a match if you think you have no chances to lose it.

Manu, what about a simulate a match function. Like in Fifa. You can choose how much of the match you want to play.
For example. You sim the first set. Then decide to play if your player gets into trouble? Just a suggestion

koeloe,
hum, that would be more for a manager game and won't make much sense in TE2011, as a lot of skills used by the CPU are not displayed, so can't be trained for your human player.
