Can someone tell me how to make my hitting partner in the warm-up change back to a CPU player instead of a player 2?

Hello,

go to the "Character Sheet" menu, click on the top right arrow to access the "Player 2" sheet, and there change the icon under the player from "Human" to "CPU".
