Injuries/Retirements

Postby anonymous22 » 28 Feb 2011, 02:54

I am wondering if anyone happens to know how injuries and retirements are worked into the game. I often see retirements in matches between two computer players - does this ever happen in a match between a human and a computer? Do players get extended injuries?

Hello,

CPU players can be injured for the current week only.
Your player cannot be injured.

There's a way to increase the number of retirements in matches between cpu vs. human?

CPU never retires against the human player.

Unless this is something that was addressed in one of the more recent patches, I *CAN* be injured. There are at least two instances that I remember (but not real recently) that in the middle of a game, I was "unable to continue" because of an injury. I remember the most recent one since I was retired because of an ankle injury, and I had just dropped out of a match in real life the day before because I rolled my ankle. Too weird! ;)

You can get injured in TEM, but this is the forum for TE2011, in which you can't...

PS: TEM secretly uses ur webcam to detect ur real injuries ;)

I'm talking about TE2011. I don't have TEM.
Was it possible in TE2009? I didn't think it was that long ago, but I guess it's possible (time just runs together when you're retired :) ).

Except if I'm struck by an early Alzheimer, I don't think it's possible to get injured in TE2009/11 .
Maybe you tried TEM demo & the experience got mixed up with TE in ur mind..?
