I am wondering if anyone happens to know how injuries and retirements are worked into the game. I often see retirements in matches between two computer players - does this ever happen in a match between a human and a computer? Do players get extended injuries?

Unless this is something that was addressed in one of the more recent patches, I *CAN* be injured. There are at least two instances that I remember (but not real recently) that in the middle of a game, I was "unable to continue" because of an injury. I remember the most recent one since I was retired because of an ankle injury, and I had just dropped out of a match in real life the day before because I rolled my ankle. Too weird!

You can get injured in TEM, but this is the forum for TE2011, in which you can't...

I'm talking about TE2011. I don't have TEM.
Was it possible in TE2009? I didn't think it was that long ago, but I guess it's possible (time just runs together when you're retired ).

Except if I'm struck by an early Alzheimer, I don't think it's possible to get injured in TE2009/11 .
Maybe you tried TEM demo & the experience got mixed up with TE in ur mind..?
