Is there any way to have just 1 game sets in career?

Postby sphanlon » 21 Jan 2011, 06:56

I know there's a setting, but it seems no to work in career. It forces that each side has a chance at serve, which I know is more fair and realistic. But sometimes I just want to set it up that way.

Hello,

easiest way was to set that at start of the new career (but the menu that allows to change the number of sets only pops up when you have the "Advanced Options" off).
But now, you still can change them by clicking on the "Number of Sets" icon on your opponent presentation screen. You'll have to change it for all possible settings, so watch it every time.

Thanks, but not number of sets. I'm trying to set 1 game per set. The game seems to force both sides to have a chance at serve in career no matter your settings.

oops, sorry, I read ur message too fast..! :P

So the answer is no, but you can have 1 tie-break right at start of the set by setting 0 game per set.

Having only 1 game doesn't make any "tennistic" sense, coz to win a set, you need to have at least a 2-game advance.
