The number of double faults hit while doing 2nd serve at 1+2 or 1 is just so small. It seems to be about 90% of net/wide errors and considering the fair speed of those serves it's just unbearable. Some people don't do a single double fault hitting those serves during two-set matches! You have to do something about this as it's really irritiating.

For 70% Power with 100% Consistency, the B1+B2 serve has a around 79% chances to be in.
So if you always use B1+B2 on 1st & 2nd serves, it means you'll do 4.4% of double faults (if you never do aiming fault).
This % drops a lot if you use B1 instead of B1+B2, to goes around 1%.

That's what I am talking about. 4% of double faults with such a risky serve? It should be about 20% and 10%(with b1) IMO.

Player serving b1+b2 2nd serve would make only about 2 double faults per match. Is this anywhere close to reality? All players serve 2nd serve with much more care and slower speed.

I have to say I agree with Adner. It's ridiculous that people can do so few double faults when going for so much on second serves. Of course Jelena Jankovic disagrees; he's one of the players that goes for most on second serves and tends to get lots of aces and very few double faults.

I totally agree.
I played Kz today and he was able to hit every second serve at 200 or more. He only hit 2 df and it was impossible to break him like that.

the percentage really seems to high. second serve should be slower then the first, and if a player goes for the second serve of 200 kmph or more he should hit much more DF. that's reality.

Well , I think that you guys , should not focus on the unrealism of the serve only , there are many other things in the game that are unrealist too such as super power , huge top spin ... etc , but we all got used to 'em and we try to enjoy the game as it is , so I think that if a player wins a match , it's not only because he served one or two aces on his second service !
that's my opinion anyway , and I do not wanna enter in a big debate so c ya !

I think that's not necessary. Leave the 1st serve as it is and:
Make fault chance of 2nd b1+b2 serve 40%
fault chance of 2nd b1 serve 25%
and leave the b2 second serve as it is. It would balance out the 2nd serve and leave a good amount of chance to hit the b1+b2 in when the game is at a score of 40-0 or 40-15 when you can take risk.

Sidenote: KZ is well known of kitting 205kmph 2nd serves so he obviously doesn't want this to change.

no no , I used to win even without serving well , and I agree that the % of second serve should be lowered !
and I also agree that the % of the 1st serve should stay as it is now

i think its all because we have some really great returners in this game and they feel the presure so another first serve isnt so bad but against the medium returner and the bad ones we dont mind a second serve , i cant stay at the baseline on a first serve but i can against a second so i would like people to do it with more risk or just stop

There's no reason to lower the % of 2nd serve and not on 1st serve (except maybe by a low % to simulate some stress), so it's either both or none...
Another possibility would be to count the 2nd serve as an acceleration if it's done with B1+B2...
