by Duleto » 30 Aug 2024, 22:34 Few months ago I found Tennis Elbow 2013 and I decided to give it a go. I was impressed by the realism and the features the mods can add to make it even more. I had a big history of searching for the best tennis simulation and the closest one providing me with the joy I was searching for was [censored] Pro. However, I remember that the AI, at one point, was no longer on my level, and the matches became boring, even on the hardest difficulty. Online - there was a massive lag and so many people were cheating...
So, I was once again not fully satisfied, until I bought and patched TE2013. I love the game, its complexity, and the fun it can bring. With the 2022 Tennis Experience patch I started my career with the player I created and the amount of detail in this patch/mod is amazing. I have a feeling I am indeed a real tennis player, traveling and playing in different courts very single time. The AI is very adaptive, changing their play through the game - I love it.

I even bought a gamepad because of how great this game is, which you can see in the later episodes in the above playlist.
Yesterday I checked the TE4 demo, and I can see that AI is even more complex, the graphics are improved and that the game can be patched. I will definitely give it a go as well and buy the full version soon.
In real world, I am a huge tennis fan. I started watching at the end of the 90s. I remember the rivalry between Agassi (my first favorite) and Sampras. Then I became a Rafa Nadal fan. I have his book (which is awesome btw) and I followed his results everywhere. And, as I am Bulgarian, I am cheering for Dimitrov as well.
