I wanted to know how the volley drop-shot is done because although I always see the machine doing it, every time I try it tells me that I am badly positioned and the ball always goes to the net.

Hello,

it's the hardest strike of the game. Try to practice it in Warm-Up mode till you can make a few. You need to be perfectly positioned to suceed.

Just stand at the net in warm-up mode and practice a lot ; there's no secret...

I have been ranked 30/1 (in France) for 4 or 5 years in a row. This is a decent club level, but nothing extravagant... It just means I could play tennis (defend, attack, keep the ball in when needed, volley a bit, etc.).

Now, I don't have time for tennis anymore... (hopefully, it'll get better when the kids are a bit older)

30/1i n France ~= 3.0 in USA (they put 30/2 as well at 3.0, but there's a big gap between 30/1 & 30/2, so it's approximative ).
