Sweet Spot Tuning

Postby martindelavega » 15 Feb 2020, 23:28

Yes, it was just what I was looking for !!. Well I think there is always something new to ask :oops:
First I clarify that I already read all the posts about this.
SweetSpotRadius = 2.5
SweetSpotScale = 0.05
L33tSweetScale = 1.25
It was not clear to me: these values work the same way when you raise or lower them, for example if raising the SweetSpotRadius will make it easier to hit the ball well, if so, if I increase SweetSpotScale it will also be easier to hit well without many mistakes? same for
L33tSweetScale.
If I am wrong: what would be an exaggerated value for not making mistakes or the minimum possible for these lines?I say to understand well how it works

Hello,

1) raising SweetSpotRadius gives a bigger zone where the ball impact is perfect

2) SweetSpotScale determines the handicap scale when the ball is outside the sweet spot, so if you raise it, you'll get slower speed & less precision

3) L33tSweetScale is multiplied with SweetSpotScale when you use the Elite controls

Note : you had put this message in a topic about something completely different, so I moved your message in its own topic :blackeye:

oh sorry for that , ':D thanks for the explanation, I think I'm still a bit silly in this, you could give me an exaggerated value where there would be the minimum hitting error in these lines:
SweetSpotRadius = 2.5
SweetSpotScale = 0.05
L33tSweetScale = 1.25
thats the original from tennis.ini but I would like you to give me some super exaggerated values so that there are few or no errors.

Set SweetSpotRadius to 250 ( = 2.5 meters), so the ball will always be in the sweet spot.
