there are 6 play styles, defender, power baseliner, counter, puncher, volleyer, and varied. there are 9 surfaces, red clay, green clay, BG hard court, cement, classic synthetic, NL synthetic, indoor hard, carpet, and grass. in real life they generally divide the surfaces into grass (grass), clay (red clay and green clay) and hard court (everything else), although we can probably further divide hardcourts into fast hard courts (cement and BG cement), slow hard courts (classic and NL synthetic), and indoor hard courts (indoor hard and carpet). i believe that cement and BG is fast as that is what the US open is made of (decoturf which is an acrylic hard court) which is quite fast and classic and NL synthetic are slow as that is what the australian open is made of which is clearly slow as the real life nadal is better at AO than USO and the real AO is made of plexicusion which is a synthetic hard court and same colour as NL synthetic. i already know for sure that defenders' best surface is clay as that is the best surface of defensive baseliners and the symbol is an orange colour and also because the real life nadal is best at RG and he is a DB. and i already know that volleyers' best surface is grass as the symbol is green and also past wimbledon stars such as sampras and becker were serve and volleyers and wimbledon was their best slam. i also know that varied players are all rounders such as federer as he is all rounded in pretty much everyones opinions and has won every slam. what im trying to figure out is counter, power baseliner, and punchers' best surfaces are (my character is counter). heres my theory, i think that counters are best at slow hard courts as the symbol has a colour which looks like classic synthetic (which i have already determined to be slow), and punchers are best at fast hard courts because their symbol is of a blue green court (which i have determined to be fast), and power baseliners are best at just hard courts in general but of no preference between slow and fast courts, because their symbol is just plain blue which is the colour of most hard courts whether fast or slow. another reason to support my theory is that counters are probably relatively a defensive version of baselining and punchers are a relatively aggressive version of baselining, and aggressive styles are usually better at fast and defensive are usually better at slow (as is seen in grass and clay), so i think counters should be better at slow and punchers better at fast. could people share their thoughts? and manutoo, did your selection for colouring of symbols actually come from a similar theory? (that is, counters are better at slow hard court etc for all play styles mentioned) because it all fits together well
