Backhand passing shots

Postby btaylor » 08 Feb 2010, 10:34

Hi Manu

Something interesting......When I'm playing against the CPU with his level set to pro 10 and above (I just finished beating incredible level 10..albeit with some tweaking of his percentages 8-)) and I go to hit an accelerated one hand backhand winner I've noticed for quite some time now that it's much, much easier to hit it down-the-line rather than cross court (which almost never happens...

Is there some reason for that or haven't you noticed?
For the record, I use the one hand backhand with the topspin set to "0"...

It's not a big deal...it's just something that I noticed since the beginning of TE 09...

Hello,

to do a winning crosscourt FH or BH passing shot, u'll need to use the short acceleration, coz the normal acceleration will almost never be crossed enough. I guess that's why u feel it's easier to go down the line....
