Well congrats to Princess Serenity on winning the Belgrade Challenger. She said she would win this tournament and she did! She is quickly rising up the rankings and is slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with. Since she started her career she has only lost 3 matches. Can she keep up the victories as a wild card in her first Tier III/IV tournament in Memphis? We shall all find out very soon!
This is what Princess Serenity said about her victory in Belgrade and playing in her first Tier III/IV event: " Last week I said I would win Belgrade and that is exactly what I did. I came, I saw, and I conquered. I came to this tournament, I saw the draw, and I conquered. I have to give credit to the finalist Conchita Martinez Granados for putting on a great show with me. She beat me when we played before, but I was just the better player today. I have to admit, the match was alot tougher then what the score says, but I LOVE a revenge match! My motto is go hard or go home! I went hard and everyone else went home. As for playing in Memphis, I am very excited and I know I must step my game up because the competion will be alot better. My form is far from where I want it to be so my goal is to make it to at least the quarters. Hopefully I'll play some of the players I have great respect for in the game. Until then I will probably do some more power, speed, stamina, and precision work. Mostly power. In Memphis I will just have to play the Serenity way and hope to do well. See you in Memphis!!!
