Turning around the backhand to hit a forehand

Postby Burned » 04 Dec 2017, 21:49

Good evening,
Some players turn around their backhand to hit a forehand because they are much better at forehand.
The AI does that automatically.
But some players (such as Raonic) are more used to playing that way than some others (such as Paire).
On TE2013 (with mods Maxou Patch 2016), we always see some players hit a backhand where the real player would have turned around the backhand (to hit a forehand).
How can I take that fact into account to see Raonic turning more around his backhand that Paire ?

Thanks and sorry for my english.

Best wishes

Hello,

FH power must be 5% above BH power for the CPU to do that ; and the bigger the difference is, the higher chance he'll do it.

Ok thanks, I thought there was a sort a value to edit on the gamesys.ini or something like that.

So that brings another question.
Is that normal that serve and volleyers are really bad at scoring aces ?
Power baseliners and punchers easily score aces (with AiSlowerReturner turned to 0.05) but it seems like you can't be a good server and a serve&volleyer at the same time.

S&V'ers do more sliced serves, to give them time to reach the net to have an easier 1st volley, so they have less chances to do aces.
