Who's that guy? Curious player

Postby NeNa » 26 Apr 2017, 22:31

Hello Manutoo,

I'm playing the 2011 US Open in career mode (started in 1999, so I've good prospects of finishing my Career after 16 seasons!!!).
Now I'm astonished by my 2nd round opponent. Who the hell is that guy?

I know a doubles specialist named Bruno Soares, who was born in 1982 (so, in 2011 he was 28 or 29 years old). But a 46 year old defender with such impressive baseline and fitness skills??? I think, something went wrong here!?!

Best regards, NeNa

Hello,

oh yup, it seems the player base incremental updates created a monster..! :fear:
I'll fix him for next update...

Ok, thank you. Though, I think, I'll try to battle him down before the next update is released. But I'm really scared to death of that ogre :fear:

You can tune him down in Data\Players.ini . Just change his last ranking from 3 to 30 or something like this...

Today, I finally dared to play him (without tuning him down, actually I didn't wanna cheat). My respect turned out to be highly reasoned. Finally I battled him down 4:6,6:7,6:4,6:4,6:4 :D Luckily, his "form of the day" was -0.11. I wonder about the outcome of the match, if this parameter had been to his favour. Without any doubt, he was the toughest 46 year old, I've ever played in my life  At least, I don't fear getting older any more  .
