Synchronization on 1H backhand

Postby btaylor » 13 Nov 2009, 07:35

Hi Manu,

I noticed something interesting on the 1H backhand synchronization/decoupling...

Now It seems to only happen when I play against the CPU with the auto-adjustment set on "fast"...
But not as much as it used to on the previous build before you adjusted it...

Usually I see it when I'm playing on clay with the CPU's topspin set on 100%, mostly when my player is backing up to adjust to a high, deep topspin shot...

It doesn't happen at all when the auto-adjustment is set on "slow" or "average"...

I was playing with it set on "slow" without knowing that I had inadvertantly changed it from "fast"... (Played pretty well, too  )

I think I'll play on "slow" from now on, as I've gotten used to it, and it seems to give you the ability to take the ball somewhat earlier (on the rise)

Just thought you might like to know, in case you haven't already figured it out...

Hello,

The "desync" u talk about happens when the player is walking/running backward while starting to do his strike. To correct it, I made the player using sidestep instead...

And yup, only on "Fast" autopos the player will go backward automatically ; in other mode, he won't, allowing to take the ball on the rise (with the risks associated).
