Specifically the topspin stat, I found the Players.ATP file but cannot see the topspin stat anywhere. I would like to reduce it because I find the rallies to slow and long with players that have very high top spin.

Thank you for response. I found a player with high topspin in the players.ATP file which was Nadal and his Lift stat was 100 even though in the game his topspin stat is 80. I tried to lower it a bit to about 60 and saved the file, ran the game but it has taken no effect.

You might have installed a Mod whose Players.ini is used instead of the one you changed.

Oh I see I am using Sam's Patch Mod. If I change anything in the players.ini will it corrupt my save game as I have played over a year so far.

As long as you don't add more data to the file, it shouldn't corrupt the save. I've been running my own simulations with edited stats, and it's fine tweaking stats, but if you add an extra year to a player, than your save becomes corrupt. you could always save a backup of the file before changing anything just to be sure.

There is one other thing that I have had an issue with and wondered if you know why it is happening on the Sams Patch Mod, I don't know whether it does it on the standard version as well or not. When I play Davis Cup matches the game runs really slow and the only way I have found to improve performance is to turn all the graphics settings down including resolution but it still a bit jittery. It seems a bit odd that it only happens in Davis Cup as the rest of the time it runs perfectly at the highest graphical settings.
