In your folder Tennis Elbow / Menu, open the file : charsheet sub. Search for BallDiffScale until you find these lines:
NumberCfg /$p/BallDiffScale 1.0 0.5 1.7
NumberCfg /$p/PrecisionScale 1.0 2.0 0.75

If you increase the last number of the first line (1.7 in that case) the ball will be harder to control, easier if you decrease it for you and the CPU player !
You can also change the last number of Precision Scale the same way with almost same effect.

Increasing these numbers are interesting only if you want a more realistic game with more unforced errors.

Thanks for the reply. However, could you please clarify where I can find these lines - I've looked through all the files I cant find anything.

You have to extract the Menu folder with Qped from the Pak01.pak file in Data folder.

It's all in tennis.ini, in the main Tennis Elbow folder. No need to extract anything.

Ok you're true there many lines with it in the caracters section but I'm not sure it works with the Tour Mode. Keep me posted.
