Missing Best Players in Grand Slams ?

Postby Klewer88 » 26 Jan 2009, 14:17

Hi All.

Love the game but something is bugging me.
I am in the 2nd year of World Tour and am competing in the Grand Slams.
I noticed at the French Open Roger Federer who is now ranked 3 was not in the Tournament for some reason.
I decided not to worry and went on to the next week and played in the London Grass Tournament where I played him and beat him.
I am now just entering Wimbledon and once again he is not competing.
Is there a reason for this >?

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

to simulate injuries, there's a 5% chance that players won't participate to a Grand Slam ; but actually, I just thought that Federer, Nadal & most top players never misses a GS, so for next update, the top 4 players of the year won't miss GS anymore...

please leave it that way. i mean there's only 5% chance. it isn't like we have to miss them every GS.

for example the women do that all the time. sometimes they are just injured and can't compete. plus i think it's more fun to wait and see who couldn't show up in the draw.
