Understanding end-of-match statistics

Postby CC » 26 Jan 2009, 06:33

I am trying to find this information by searching the Internet, and I have looked some through the forum. Maybe someone here can give me a good reference. I won a match in World Tour, and I can't understand how I won with the resulting end-of-match statistics listed below:

The total points won for Nadal is 14 more than for me. Yet, I won the match. Is this because he won almost all of the points in the second set? I can't understand how I won with those statistics.

Thanks!

Yes, it's because he won almost all of the points in the second set. Another reason could be that when he won games he won them without you winning a point and you won them with him getting 2 or more points. Just realize that he also won 2 more games total than you did.

The key is that you like tennis, not that you know everything about it.
