yup, it's a nice drawing.
There's something I'd like to have : a nice background image for the site, especially for TE2013 page here => https://www.managames.com/tennis/game_en.html ; I gues this image should blend with current background, ie: not be too visible to not attract the attention too much ; it would be visible only on left & right borders, not in the middle where there's text & pictures (if you have a screen resolution of less than 1280 pixels, you won't see these left & right borders). Maybe it could be made from different in-game pictures nicely patch together.
I don't know if it's something you can do & would like to do, though...

4 questions. What type you want to have - .jpeg .png .bmp. tiff or maybe another one? (of course i want to do it )

I'll use .jpg .

1- I think 500 pixels each side should be enough
2- hum, i'm not sure, either it stays empty, or if the background pic can repeat, then still show it there ; possibly, i could display 2 images, 1 on left & and 1 on right, so the middle would stay empty
3- the size is not fixed in pixels, it depends of the size of characters set in the browser
