The Overall Energy (OE) depletion rate is not adjusted to the number of sets, but the refill rate under 40% is very fast, thus you'll almost never play with less than 40-50% OE, even after many sets.
Currently, with a low Average Rally Length, you probably can play 10 sets without losing too much OE, if any at all.
Anyway, I might tune a bit the Instant Energy (IE) / OE interaction, so that 50% OE will lead to start the point with 70% IE instead of 50%. ie: I'll show SquareRoot of OE, and cap IE to it ; it'll also allow to make the OE speedy recovery rate triggers around 20-25% instead of 40% (as Sqrt(25%) = 50%), so people not watching their OE carefully will still end with 50% IE at start of the point, but this will occur later in the match ; the little downside is that the OE will look like slowly going down at 1st and then accelerating its depletion rate later on, but I'm sure it'll lead to many interesting & mysterious theories amongst the TE communities...
