The one-handed backhand

Postby btaylor » 09 Aug 2008, 10:05

Hi Manutoo! What a big difference on the one-handed topspin backhand! Now, if you could just tweak it and keep the upper body (shoulders) turned just a fraction more before and through contact you would have the PERFECT Federer topspin backhand!! Also if possible on the forehand if you could have the wrist and racquet lay back just a little during the backswing preparation it too would be perfect. If this could be possible I PROMISE not to pluck your nerves any more on the groundstrokes!!! :D As I mentioned previously the two-handed backhand is spot on!

Hello,

I just uploaded a new test version with a new tuned forehand, let me know what u think about it.

About the 1H-backhand, i won't change it anymore. Instead in a few months, I'll do a new one from scratch from video of Federer, so it should be almost identical to Federer backhand.

Forehand tune-up

Postby btaylor » 18 Aug 2008, 07:58

Hey Manutoo! The forehand backswing looks so much more realistic since you adjusted it! Now the size and speed of the forehand swing better matches the speed/power of the ball after the hit (much more fluid.) The size of the 1H topspin backhand backswing should be similar in order to properly build up racquet head speed...when you copy the Federer video it should be awesome!! Can hardly wait...C'est la vie! :D
