@miguel :
Sometimes I wonder why I write explanation...
Look again at the 1st message of this topic :
The AI is very basic !
And I guess there's a problem when the AI is on the most difficult level.
To revert back to a normal level, edit the Tennis.ini and change "[TrainingClub_p2] - Level" to 2 (or maybe 1).
If you don't know how to do it, just install the game again.
@Serena_Fan :
As I already said many times, there will have more set of strike anims in the future, but not before a few months after the initial final version release.
>> that backhand follow through is brutal
hmm, what do you mean ?
@S.Williamz :
If you prepare the slice too late, it'll show the default animation, coz anyway, the slice effect won't be too strong...
[Time = Power]
It's a common feature. It was in the tennis game I played the most (2nd after Tennis Elbow, actually

) : Great Courts 2.
The fact that u needed to prepare your strike time in advance to hit it strongly was the main reason I decided to create TE at 1st : on the court, I never felt I had to prepare in advance to hit strongly. Actually, the faster you prepare, the more you'll hit strongly, it's pure physical law => Power = speed * strength.
The only case it wouldn't be true is for the Gonzales super forehand which needs a maximal amplitude, but it's not very common, and the current TE system works quite fine...
Read the topic about concepts if you want to know what preparation time gives you... It's way lot more realistic than time => power...
And now, you have a visual indication when you use your last acceleration, so you don't have excuse anymore to not know you can't do it anymore...
About the animations, unfortunately, I'm almost on my max, cannot do better without restarting from the beginning.
Hopefully, for the future sets, I'll use slow motion videos and I'll be able to reproduce more naturally the strikes.
For the little story, I paid for animations, and they were absolutely bad (ok, maybe not that bad, but really below average), so I modified them by myself... Doing only modification was a lot faster than recreating the whole thing, but it leads to keep some of the initial overall mistakes...
I did the service & smash from scratch... I don't know if u see any difference in quality from the other strikes, but if u do, then u can have hope to see a better quality for the future sets...
