I've got a mac so was going to purchase the mac version of TE, but, I've read that using mods is harder with mac, and I've also read that using a controller with TE is problematic with a mac, so I was thinking if I get the mac version and then find out it's not going to work as well as I want it to, I can just go ahead and play the PC version as I have bootcamp installed on my mac. But that assumes I only have to pay once to be able to use it on both platforms.

Could someone please help? I don't want to spend £20 on the mac version to find out that it doesn't work well with the mods I want and a controller and then have to spend another £20 on the PC version.

Price is only £16.95 .
Don't buy the AppStore version, as it's tied to Apple.
