However I still don't really notice a difference in the women's serve efficiency...maybe you can give us a option so we can edit this variable ourselves? I still am only seeing a couple of breaks in a match and alot of 7-6(4) sets which is unusual for the WTA!

Agreed. I was seeing the load of "7-6" sets in the previous update and it doesn't seem to have changed at all..

Hey Manu

when the game first opens it's 2011
however, when i start a new game i only select as late as 2010i cant start from the year 2011
and the womens ranking is not end of 2011..
serena williams, dinara safina and dementieve are top of the rankings but dementieva already retired..and safina has been inactive too?

Also if i make it to yer 2012...
a lot of top players missing...both williams' dissapear as does clijsters
and no dokic, stosur etc.

Has it downloaded correctly because it doesnt seem too different except kvitova is number 1...
but i cannot start from 2011, why?>

Also the game's player base isn't accurate after 2008 for the WTA...basically a lot of made up people rising in the ranks.

I didn't add a fictional year (to not invalidate the saved games), so you can't start in 2011.
A good bunch of players are retired in 2012. Some of them may match real life... But for now, 2012 is still a fictional year in the game...

I'll set the women serve efficiency coefficient in the .ini for the next Build.
I lowered the ranks of a bunch of fictional players, so they're not in the top 20 before 2012 anymore, but they are still around ranks 20-60. I can't remove them without invalidating the saved games.
I guess I'll have to rebuild from scratch the database for next big update to fix all the fictional players that infiltrated the real years, but no idea when it'll come...

I just updated (SubBuild = 2012.2.11) ; download & reinstall the demo.
In the Tennis.ini, look for, under [WT_Static] :
WomanServeCoeff = 0.81
and try to lower it (or raise it, if you want to check everything). Before, it was 0.84. I lowered it to 0.81 for the 1.0h version.
