hey manutoo can i create 30.000 ATP and WTA players, and delete all old players from 1990. can i also change the carrer year 1990-2026, so i can play from 2012-2090. Will the games speed be slowly and will the enter score results speed also be slowly or it is other consequences that can happen.

yes, it should be ok ; the game will be a bit slower to process each week (when you click on the "Next week" button), and saved games will be more big.

Note: you can't have more than 32'000 players in each base.

what should i do, when i will have 32.000 players in TEM.

should i create new each bases, or should i creates new playersATP and playersWTA folders, in the data map.

You can have 32'000 players, but not more.
You can do anyway you want, depending of what is your goal. Easiest might be to create a new base starting later, for example to do 2012-2060 and 2040-2090 .

what manutoo is trying to explain is that you CAN have up to 32'000 players in the player base.
But you CANNOT have more than 32'000 in it because of the game engine limitation.
If you need more than 32'000 because you want to create enough players for many years (e.g. 2012-2090) you will have to split them like manutoo suggested.
In fact you don't need to have players playing in 2012 and those playing in 2080 in one base because such a timespan is not possible in any single game.
So you can create two or even more player bases (separate data files) with overlapping years to be able to play in any timeframe.
If you create one base for 2012-2060 and second base for 2042-2090 the players playing in 2042-2060 will be in both but the rest will only be in the base of their respective years.
That way you can split the whole player list into more player bases and have altogether more than 32'000 players, but not in one single base.
And then depending on the data files the game reads upon start you will have the specific player base available.

hey marco should i create new player folders playersATP and playersWTA to create 32.000 players and put them in the folders and create two playing years one from 2012-2040 and 2040-2090 and what about the players rankings in two folders and the playable years please i need helps or can you give exsamples in the forum or can manutoo also help me wit some eksamples, because i have still don´t understand it please.

OK, I'll try to clarify it more.
First of all, we're speaking about two data files (not folders) named Players.ATP.Ini and Players.WTA.Ini
Each of those can contain 32'000 players at maximum for men and women tour respectively.
If you need more players for one tour you will have to split them into two separate data files (e.g. Players.ATP.2012-2060.Ini and Players.ATP.2042-2090.Ini)
Of course if you want the game to work with one of them you will have to rename that file to the correct name (i.e. Players.ATP.Ini in this case)
After start of the game it will automatically find it and read the player base to use.

If you want to switch later to the other data file you have to exit the game, rename the files accordingly for game to read the other one and start the game again.
The saved games from the first player base are obviously incompatible with the second base and vice versa so they will be invalid.
It is like if you had two different mods of the game, each one for different playing years.
You should also have overlapping years in the bases (e.g. 2042-2060) because in your example (2040) it wouldn't be possible to play the game correctly from let's say 2030 because last 5 years of your career have no players in the first base and first 10 years have no players in the second base.

Aside from this it is only the matter of Ini file statements which you probably know already well but let me summarize it.
[WT_Static]
FirstYear = the soonest year you may choose your career to start
LastYear = the latest year your career may end (you are allowed to start 16 years before this)
[PlayerXXXX]
FirstYear = the year when the player appears on tour and starts playing
RankPerYear = the ranks of a player for all the years of play starting in "FirstYear", after the last rank number the player will retire

As for the examples here are some that might be helpful.

The first base contains:
[WT_Static]
FirstYear = 2012
LastYear = 2060
[Player9999]
FirstYear = 2030
RankPerYear = 1 1 2 2 3 3 4 4 5 5 4 4 3 3 2 2 1 1 //18 ranks for 18 years

The second base contains:
[WT_Static]
FirstYear = 2042
LastYear = 2090
[Player9999]
FirstYear = 2042
RankPerYear = 3 3 2 2 1 1 //6 ranks for 6 years

This player will retire in 2048 and his complete career is only in the first base.
The second base contains only the relevant part since 2042.

Marco -- I have a question about something that you just commented on. Changing the years seems to have no effect -- can you/manu confirm that it is actually possible to change these, and if so how? Under WT-Static I have set the FirstYear to various things, anywhere from 1975 to 1989, and the earliest I can start a game is still 1990, it does not change. So how do you get the game to recognize the new starting year(if it can actually be changed)?

Zorromorph,

I've just double checked this and it works.
I have even tried 1950 as a starting year and in the career play period choice I got all the options from 1950-1965 to 2010-2025.
Of course without providing the corresponding player base there are no players in those early years.

EDIT:
Correction, it seems that you are right, you've probably stumbled upon a bug, I have tried only WTA at first.
manutoo, Zorromorph directed me to a bug regarding the career years defined in [WT_Static] part.
The game correctly responds only to changes in WTA player base and uses these values even for ATP tour.
The numbers in ATP player base don't have any effect.

About FirstYear issue,
it was more an engine limitation than a bug, as it was working as designed (both bases were supposed to have same years)... ;)
I'll change that for next update anyway..!

hey marco can you give me another eksample with a real exsample roger federer or jelena jankovic please, and can i not change the data files name as playersATP 2012-2040 and playersATP 2040-2090. should i create two data bases to playing in that year. i´m sorry marco but i had understand, but i dont understand about the data files and the playable years of a new created players. I hope you can give exsample a a men player from the TEM AND a woman player from 2012-2040 and 2040-2090 and what about the last 5 years i don´t understand it. can you also tell me in more details about the data files from 2012-2090 or can you create some exsamples and send it to the forum, i hop you can do it, because i i really want it to create players and play from 2012-2090, because i love the game so much it is the best tennis game played in my life. it is awsome and great. It will be big help to me, if you can do it, please :D if you can not, it is also okay , so will i try manutoo so do it if he can. :D

manutoo, I feared of something like a bug vs feature issue here ;-)
But thank you for being so flexible and hearing us out :-D
This is really a great game as many have already stated.

Since there is a good opportunity for small corrections I have several to add.
1) After discussion here I have tried ATP and noticed that all five set matches of my player are always shown in tiebreak format e.g. 6-2(0) or 10-8(0)
2) The menu file for starting a game has hardcoded startyear 2009, it doesn't reflect the number in Tennis.ini.
3) That also has side effect regarding here discussed different years of play if they don't include 2009.
I would better include some validity check to change the starting year accordingly.

I know that I can change some of these myself but I think it could be available for all in the official release if you think it makes sense.
