The TEM 1.0g thread says that the rankings have been updated up to 2010, but the I downloaded the latest version and they still only seem to be accurate up to 2007.

Have only the ATP rankings been updated?

Rankings for all top players should be up to date till end of 2010 (if not, please let me know who so I could fix them).
New players who didn't achieve a good enough ranking (ie: around Top 20) aren't updated from real rankings.

What I noticed was that starting a game in, for example, 2009 you still have players such as Wan-Ting Liu, Holly Parkinson, Andrea Herran etc near the top of the rankings all of whom either never had a high ranking or had retired at this point.

Also there are some players who still have wrong ages that I think should be updated. For example, Katernya Bondarenko, Alla Kudryavtseva, Yaroslava Shvedova, Mariya Koryttseva, Melinda Czink. All who have are/were around top 50 at least.

I understand it is tedious and time-consuming updating the rankings, but it would be nice to see them updated more, because at the moment they are still pretty unrealistic for the last few years.

Ok, I lowered rankings of : Wan-Ting Liu - Holly Parkinson - Adriana Herran Giraldo.
Next time, I will do big modifications, I'll put back in correct years the following players : Alona Bondarenko - Kateryna Bondarenko - Yaroslava Shvedova - Melinda Czink.
Other players didn't make it to any Year-End rankings Top #60, so I won't change them.

If you notice other too well ranked unknown players in 2010 or before, or real top players badly ranked (ie: top players = top #30), let me know..!

and it continues like this (beyond the top 100). About a quarter of the top 100 (2009) are incorrect at the moment!

Can you please fix the WTA player base? So many incorrect players yet the ATP is fine

you can report the incorrect players, but I'll fix only the top 10 or top 20.
