This is not trolling post so moderators please don't block this topic. Feel free to write everything which would improve this tour.

It would be nice if we can have a challenger tournament every week and a shedule for many weeks

I really like the idea behind the Challenger Tour and was glad to moderate it in 2014 / 2015. But it's sad to see that the current moderate isn't able to continue it decently. Like KENZ mentioned it should be a Tour, which means weekly events, a decent schedule, statistics and their own topics.

Same for World Tour ... it's pointless to "moderate" like this, just doing the necessary stuff (even this more or less ) without any improvements and nothing else. I just hosted one tournament at the World Tour, and I don't say it should look like this ... but something similar would be great, inclusive entry list, a short review of former champions etc. and statistics in general.

Players can't change anything. That is moderator's job. But, as we know that moderator can be player who is in good relationship with current moderators, nothing will change. For example, I have time and desire to change something and improve the tour, but ShoNe? No way.

This is a community / forum and should headed by it. And if the current moderators don't have time / knowledge to implement ideas ... well, to bad ... change the staff.

As heinrich said , i think graphics, entry lists, stats and all those stuffs should comeback and be implemented in all tournements because it gives a different taste for the tour and it's more attractive for the players...

does anyone here thinks that sampreas/algo/ivo are doing a good job?

This is thread for suggestions, not for trolling, spamming etc. I would like you Mr. Heinrich and all others to give an idea, no empty words! "Change something", "Doing their jobs", "Everything which would improve this tour", "Don't have time"...etc. I would like to hear something smart and creative, if you can do that pls i would be honored. Here or on skype dosen't matter.

Empty words? Like I mentioned (twice) in my post ... create an interesting registration topic (not copy the s*** from 2007), release an entry list, do statistics, be in time (deadline), create special events, graphics etc., blah blah blah ... and don't say, it isn't possible. I know someone who already did.

maybe a provisional changing of mods for 2 months or whatever(a little period) to see what everyone can do as a tour mod would help in finally finishing this battle between the actual mods and the other players.
So, if whoever should agree that agrees, every player that want to be mod for 2 months to leave a message here (idk, maybe untill 1st of April). Then we can make a pool of voting and the first 2 most voted players of that pool would get a tour mod job for 2 weeks. After this period of 2months, we can value how did they fared and a decision will be taken about which players are batter as tour mods: sampreas/ivo or the team of the 2 that wins the pool.
is that ok?

What do you mean by graphics? What would the interesting registration topic do? How would we do statistics? Special events like Team Cup?

Hello NathanAck,
why I mean by graphics is a responsive design for registration and official topics, statistic topics incl. logos which might be recognizable, suitable colours (e.g green/orange for clay season etc.) and photos. Here an example:

Furthermore I'd like the idea of an registration topic, which should be released at least one week before the tournaments starts. This will give you the opportunity to get in touch with the tour and get informations about maybe your favourite tournament. Here is an example:




Shone and me have already started a project about statistics in 2015. I think statistics are an essential part of a decent tour, otherwise what's the point of a tour? Of course we play for fun, but we also fight for titles. And we need statistics to see our achievements. Like W/L statistics for the surfaces, a few stats about titles, weeks on #1 etc. pp.

Yeah, special events like Team Cup, Arcade and Winter Classics or even a decent Davis Cup. Shouldn't be that hard to organize.

Heinrich the thing is that you don't have to be a moderator to lead Stats topic. Nobody from mods will forbid you to crate Stats topic. And if u have knowledge of graphic programs you still can creating reg.topics and offocial topics. Than u will just have to send them it.

I think that everything would be better if players and mods respect deadlines.Mods need to bi stricter with that and then more mtches will be played,.Not like this ,waiting for WO or RL.( on example right now is Miami playing and Deadline for Round 1 is monday.Now is tuesday( after half hour even wednesday but still some matches from R1 not decided,that is thing which made us all angry at mods)

Second thing which i dont like is coz if you ask one moderator which you see online at the moment when oyu need them,they said they are not in charge of that tournament or simpler they dont care coz they didint host the tournament.So on example me and one player playing match and have some problems and you go to skype and see only one moderator online and then he says this to you you feel like idiot and cant do anythinga bout that.

And last thing i just dont care about that but it will be nice to see entry list of tournaments and this graphics from heinrich coz then game is most entertainer and there is more fun and joy..

My suggestion
Only Sampreas does good job as mod
we should put new mods or add more (I prefer first better)
I think Heinrich, Shone, Mark Chan would be great mods
they have time and they know what they are doing
and I think that mod at least should accept request on skype, but not, our mod is not like that
and Ivo don't delete this post, I really don't understand why are you doing that
