TE 2011 1.0a (build 68-2011.1.31)
I played a Futures final. Right after winning the match (statistics panel -> ok), instead of what I assume would be the "congratulations" page from previous versions, it goes totally blank. I can't operate further. Restarting it, it leads me back to having won the game and freezing. I can't save the match (post-final win that way), I can't progress further with the tournaments.

you should upgrade to v1.0c, and you won't have any problem anymore.

I may not know how to properly do that sans purchasing the new version all over again. If that's the case, I'd be fine off with the 1.0a - not with the bug, of course!

Arguably, it took me a long time to win a tournament for this bug to show up to me.
