90% of online games are red

Postby Rodri Fergo » 03 May 2026, 19:43

Hello, I’m writing this post because I’m having serious problems playing with other players online. I’m writing this now because I’m trying to play my R1 match in the Rome Masters 1000 tournament and I can’t join my opponent’s match, nor can he join mine, but I’ve been having these problems for weeks. When I try to join a match, almost all of them appear in red. When I create a match, many people tell me that my match appears in red to them.

Here’s another curious case: one player (let’s call him Player 1) sees my game listed in red, whilst another player (let’s call him Player 2) sees it in blue and is able to join my game. When I restart the router, the problem is reversed, and now Player 1 can join, whilst Player 2 reports that my game appears in red to him.

I did the port forwarding thing for 4321 port, restarted the router several times, i confirmed that i dont have a cgnat connection (same IP in my router and looking for my IP online)... i dont know what should i do next.

I've attached some screenshots, in case they're of any use.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

according to the online log, your port isn't forwarded ; do you get this message at the end of the connection test : "Note: your host was reachable only after the help of a NAT punch-through." ?

Your outside port is 4321, so you're indeed unlikely to be behind a CGNat, but double-check your port forwarding, and also open the UDP Port 4321 in your IPv6 firewall (in the router).

There's a potential issue with the IPv6 port fordwarding. In my router I can't do it for ipv6, only for ipv4, so my solution was disabling ipv6 in the windows configuration.

Franky Franchicha,
there's no port forwarding in IPv6 ; you just have to open the port in your IPv6 firewall. If it's closed, it shouldn't give any issue, as the game favors your IPv4, and only tries to use your IPv6 if it's available and open. (since the 2 updates ago)

We were talking about it on discord.
All the NAT digicom is doing before getting out on internet can not cause any issues ? Is that normal behavior for foreigner [not french] ISP ?

Ravi d'être français sur les configs de box... :)
