Since a recent update, I am not able to launch Tennis Elbow 4 anymore.

I tried to reinstall the game. If I launch it without having updated the game it shows an error "tennis elbow 4.exe system error" wit ha text mentioningthat Unityplayer.dl is missing. After I have updated the game with the patcher it shows another quick error message (it shows the TE4 logo with a red !. It also says something about unity, but dont have enough time to properly read it).

I already tried to reinstall multiple times but this didnt help.

Do you maybe know how to fix this. Many thanks in advance!

could you try with today's update and tell me if you get the same result ?

If yes, maybe there's a program on your PC creating a conflict with Unity (the engine I'm using).

You could also try to update your video drivers.

Thank you for the advice. I tried both, but it didnt work. Any other suggestions?

Maybe just restarting your PC helped ?

Same issue for me "Unityplayer.dll is missing". Reinstallung and restarting demo did not fix the issue.

check if you have this file : "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 4 - Demo\Game\UnityPlayer.dll".
If not, it might mean your antivirus prevented the TennisElbow4-Demo-Launcher from downloading & installing it.
In this case, try to turn off your antivirus the time for the Launcher to download & install everything.

File exists and Microsoft Defender does not report any blocked access on installation or running the program.

could you try to install the game in "C:\Tennis Elbow 4 - Demo" instead of "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 4 - Demo" ?

Still does not work. At least I saw a truly short glimpse of some launcher or title screen. Was not able to identify what it was exactly as it crashed with the same error message as before.

If found out I needed to start "TE4 - Demo Patcher" first to download game files. After that the game is running.

Didn't you launch it at the end of the initial installation ?

Didn't know I had to and it was not launched automatically.
