Doubles cross platform - Loading bug

Postby squeakybum94 » 22 Aug 2024, 17:18

Hi Manu,

Whenever I try to play coop doubles with a friend on Xbox it crashes after the match starts. I am on PC and my partner on Xbox. Could you please look into this? Thank you.

Hello,

1) It crashes on Xbox ? on PC ? On both ?

2) How does it crash ? Is there the Bug Report pop-up ?

3) If it crashes on Xbox with the game closing, it means the game runs out of memory. If your friend has other Mods in addition to XKT & XKT(WTSL) then he should disable them.

Hi Manu

It crashes on both. Most of the times it crashed on my PC first and once it was fine on my PC for a couple of minutes but crashed on partner’s Xbox. Sometimes I get the bug report menu and most times the screen just freezes and is just white, can’t see the court or players and have to ctrl-alt-delete > task manager > end game. My partner can’t move an also it freezes. I have disabled other mods and my partner only has these two mods also..

Ouch, there were actually 2 bugs interacting to create this issue !

It's fixed for the next update, thanks to your report.

Meanwhile, if the Xbox player is hosting the game, it should be ok : only the Xbox players cannot join a Coop doubles.
