i updated TE4 today to the latest version (Build 125 SubBuild 2024.2.3-1) and now just see a white screen during on court

Hello,

send me a Bug Report from that screen. (HowTo => topic5-31732.php )
If it doesn't work, send one before that screen, and then manually send the Player.log .

I got your Bug Report : it looks like the shader cache was corrupted which happens sometimes (it's a Unity bug, the engine I'm using). So I deleted it and rebuilt the game.

You can update the game again and hopefully it'll work. Please let me know the result.

I get the message that no updates are found on the website

also through the patcher no update found.

Yes, I checked and the last version is online. Sometimes, there's web caching that prevents you from seeing it. It can last for a couple of days.

You're on Mac, right ?

1st, check if it wasn't already updated, as it was very small. In the Credits, it should be SubBuild 2024.2.3-2.

I guess the best is to reboot your Mac and if it doesn't help then delete "~/Documents/Tennis Elbow 4" if you don't mind redownloading the whole game.

no, i am on windows 10
i rebooted my pc and unfortunately it still does not find an update on your website and still shows "SubBuild 2024.2.3-1" in the credits

would be great to avoid deleting the TE4 folder you mentioned and to reinstall the game.

I'm worried that my save games will no longer work then. :unsure

Oh damn, I had mixed up your Report with someone else.

So I tested on my Windows, and I got the white screen as well, which is quite mysterious because I had tested yesterday and AFAIR it was working fine.

Anyway, I just rebuilt the Windows version as well so you should be able to grab the update within 40 minutes (the time I need to bundle & upload it).

Now i was able to download the update and now everything works fine again
