I play as a left-handed player, and when I retreated from the net to return a lob, the game made my character jump and try to smash the lob, even though the ball was on my right side (in the perfect position for a right-handed smash, but not for a left-handed smash). A related issue is that since the last major update, return of lobs often result in errors when I am just retreating to get into position for a strike (the "normal strike" or whatever happens when I wasn't yet ready to hit the ball).

It would be good to have an animation of a smash on the backhand side (backhand smash):

CC, nothing changed in last update about this, it should be still same : u still can run if the smash anim starts and try to reach the baseline before the ball...
