Unable to start Game [coz of Saitek Gamers Keyboard]

The games seems to be a real fun game. I first would like to play the game before the possibility of purchasing. I have searched the forum and I could not find the answer to my problem. As soon as I start the game it freezes. I have yet been able to play the game.

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
AMD64 processor
2 x 512 Corsair Memory
ATI Radeon 9800 graphics card
Creative All In Wonder Pro Sound Card
Asus A8V deluxe MOB

I have done a complete format and reinstalled the OS and still I have the same issue. All drivers are up to date. I have changed my screen resolution and refresh rates to no luck,

Hello,

so 1st, you have more than the needed configuration to play this game, so it should be possible to find a way to make it works on your PC !

Where does it freezes exactly ? When you launch the game, during the initial loading ?
Or when you start a match (or a warm-up) ?
What do you see on the screen at this moment ?

Could you open the "System.log" file located in your Tennis Elbow 2005's folder (usually, under "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 2005\"), and then copy paste all its content here ..?

It should help me to locate where it freezes.

Humm, ok nothing seems wrong at 1st sight.

The game isn't completely frozen, as it exists normally. So maybe it's something with the internal timer.

Did you resize the window when you launched the game before to send me the System.log ?

Could you try to play in fullscreen (uncheck the windowed box in the Config) ..?
Then press ALT+F4 to quit, if the game is still frozen.

Maybe I am using the wrong words when I say the game is freezing. I click on the game for it to start and when it gets to the "20 day eval messege", I cannot do anything in the game window no matter how long I have it on.
In reguards to your suggestion, I unclicked the windowed box, started the game. The "loading" screen came up in full screen. I left my computer and walked to the post office about 10 minutes the game was still in the "loading" screen. I had to go to task manager to close the game. In fact, I had to reboot inorder to get back to this forum. I have pasted the most current system log below.

Humm, it's a bit strange, it looks like you have some trouble with your video card.
Do you have recent drivers ? (something like 1 year old at most)

Do you have the control of the mouse cursor ? (the tennis ball)
Do you see the animated arrows around the button "ok" ? Are they moving ?

Moreover, it seems your pad isn't detected correctly. Could you try to unplug it ? Even delete them from your system, if needed.
These lines of the System.log :

As I stated in my first post all drivers are up to date. The drivers in question are:
ATI 9800 Series Driver Date 1-4-2006
ATI 9800 Series - Secondary Driver Date 1-4-2006

In full screen mode, I have no control over anything, I have to minimize or delete TE inorder to get control of my mouse again


Do you see the animated arrows around the button "ok" ? Are they moving ?
Since going into "full screen" the only window I get to see is the "loading" window.

Sorry, it was not obvious, but my questions were about what you were seeing in the windowed mode (as I understood you just saw the loading screen in fullscreen mode).

Do you have MSN Messenger ?
If you have time, I'd propose you to try to see what we can do to fix that by chatting on MSN, it'd be faster for the test/feedback (I'll send you a debug .Exe to do some test).

problem found

Well thru trial and error I have finally found the issue. I believe its the Saitek keyboard that i use. I simply went into my device manager and disabled one of the two HID-Compliant Device controllers. Everything works great now. Thanks for your help.
