I'm suddenly experiencing really bad lag playing the world tour mode. What's going on?

Not sure... Did u change anything in ur configuration lately ?
Maybe try to reinstall the game, in case your "Tennis.ini" got corrupted...

I've noticed this several times, also. It is experienced by the action becoming slow and jerky (no fluidity).
