Something odd is happening within Tennis Elbow, both in the downloaded demo version and the Web Games version. This just started today, although it has happened before; in the past, it quickly resolved on its on. Now, I can't make it stop. When I open either version of the game, the selection toggles constantly to the right. So, in effect, each option on whatever page that I am on is selected in sequence, and the little indicator showing which option is to be selected is just constantly shifting to the right, as if I were holding down the right arrow on my keyboard. The little beeps that accompany the change in selection sound with each change. I can still select options with the mouse, and when I finally get into a game, this problem is not noticed since there are no options to select this way in a game. But, as soon as I go back to some menu, the problem comes right back. This is not happening outside of Tennis Elbow (the cursor does not move to the right say in a text document or in Internet Explorer or anything else). I even disconnected the keyboard and mouse, and the problem continues. I don't know what to do.

This is embarrassing, but the "problem" wasn't a bug at all, of course. It was the only thing it could have been, which was that "something" was sending a key press that my computer was picking up. That "something" turned out to be my Logitech Wingman joystick with a bag sitting against it, causing some signal to be sent to my computer, which came through as a right-arrow, but only in a game. The bad thing is that now I remember that this happened before, and I had forgotten about it. So, never mind. The "problem" has been solved.
