Hey guys I have a question. I'll try to explain this and if you don't get it I can include screens.

I opened up a career playing with Roger Federer. The top 3 of the world was Djoko, Nadal and Murray.
I played a couple of matches and decided to have a "side" game. So I opened up a career on Save slot B with Nadal.

Then when I opened my old game with Federer, Nadal disappeared out of the top 3 and I found him back at ~50. Age 15 and all different kind of stats for his strokes.


Does someone know how to fix this, or is it only possible to play with 1 player and not have more save slots with other players?

did you manually save your 1st game in Slot A (or any other slot) ? And got that problem when loading it back ?
If you didn't, then your 1st game was lost...

I manually saved let's say Career Federer in Slot A, and Career Nadal in Slot B.

Whenever I open Slot A again (the Federer one), Nadal has dropped out of the top 10 and is ranked about 50/60th with all his stats dropped and him being aged 16.


Is that because I started a new career with existing player Rafael Nadal?

The only way I see that happening is that you changed Nadal in your Players.ini between the saving & the loading, as starting another game doesn't have influence on your existing saved games...

I didn't change anything in the Players.ini file at any time...

Let me explain it as clear as I can;
Slot A: Save game playing with Federer
Slot B: Just opened a new one with only Nadal playing.

Slot A: Consisted top 3 of Rafa, Murray and Djoko
Slot B: Consisted top 3 of Fed, Murray and Djoko

When I quit TE 2013 and load the Rafa game, Tipsarevic is #3 while he wasn't before and Federer is now #51/aged 16 and different stats (as in the screen).
Same goes for Slot A Federer game, Tsonga is now #3 and Rafa is #51/aged 16.

Yup, that was weird !

I figured out what was wrong : the Season mode uses the Player.ini spot of the player you had chosen, and modify it (in Career a new spot is created instead) ; thus loading another saved game would end with a corrupted player.
It is now fixed, you can re-dl the demo or the official patch.

Can you give me a link of the official patch or is it easy to find?

Thanks for finding a solution my friend! Doesn't it mean I lose my save game if I re-download the game or the patch?

Do you know if I still keep my savegames if I install the patch?

if you didn't Mod the game, just install the patch over your current installation and it should be fine.

I'm sorry but have downloaded the patch, installed it (now I have version 2013b) but I still end up with a corrupted player.

Please, do you know how to fix this? This way I can only start one career.

If you re-saved your Slot A/B then the corrupted player is now saved in them and you can't fix anything ; you'll have to restart a game.
But if you didn't save anything once you noticed the player was corrupted, you should be able to load your saved game & go on with it.

So you are saying that for example in my case, in the Slot A Federer game Nadal will always be corrupted in other save games?

If I delete slot A, and start from scratch there won't be corrupted players anymore?

No, the problem should be only in your current saved game, and only comes if you load it ; starting a new game or loading a not-corrupted saved game should be ok.

Also, maybe check you're really running the latest version ; SubBuild shown in Credits screen should be : 2013.8.31 .

THis is my version, so I think that's correct.



It doesn't work mate. If I open up a new game, in another slot with Nadal -> Federer will be aged 15 and ranked 72 or something like that. So I don't know? Can you help me.
